Guests can visit the factory and the bungalow that was Sir Lipton’s residence from 1890 to 1910 and spend time walking through the plantation. Set on a working farm amid spectacular Andean scenery, this charming hacienda (dating back to the 17th Century) features traditional touches throughout. Now owned by the family of two former Presidents, the extended family still stay most weekends.

    Punctuated by original features and a lot of character, each room is different though each has a log burner to stave off cold nights. What sets Zuleta apart is the food, served in the communal dining room made with locally grown fresh produce. Guests can explore the vast walking trails by foot, mountain bike or on horseback.
