The Henry Poole inspired Debit Card is making an entrance

Inspired by the legendary Savile Row tailor Henry Poole, the new Business Debit Card nods to the blue dinner jacket he designed for Edward VII. This then went onto become the iconic tuxedo that’s still worn today.

Henry Poole, the founding father of Savile Row, is synonymous with immaculate tailoring, elegance and sophistication. He dressed many Coutts clients, including trailblazing philanthropist Angela Burdett-Coutts. Over the years the business grew and eventually moved from its original roots in Regent Street to its Savile Row home today.

With support from Coutts, Henry Poole also opened European branches in Paris and Berlin, and employed upwards of 300 tailors making it easily the largest of the western tailors and the largest fully bespoke tailoring house in the world.

This is just one example of the many long and successful business relationships we’ve built and nurtured, and we’re just as focused on getting behind entrepreneurs and wealth created today. Because supporting the current innovators – the ones who really make a difference – is part of our DNA.
